Feather pillows

Feather pillows can offer softness and comfortability. The features used for the pillows are small and highly curled, which provides a cloud-like feel. One type of feather used for pillows is as strong as carbon fibre which provides the right support to your neck.

Down pillows

Another soft, gentle pillow type is the down pillows which are similar to the feather pillows. Down is a natural material which comes from a bird’s fluffy undercoat. These pillows are soft, puffy, and the most luxurious pillows. Goose down is one of the popular downs available which can have the fill power of 600 or more. Down pillows are fluffy but do not provide the support as same as feathers.

Memory foam pillows

Memory foam is the most advanced mattress and pillow material. They can make a great fit for individual body shapes which allow your shoulders, neck, and back. You can stay comfortable because the pillow adjusts as you move when you are sleeping. Once you leave the pillow, it will bounce back to the original shape.

Microbead pillows

Microbead pillows consist of tiny beads which are made of unexpanded polystyrene (EPS). These beads can provide hard support to the neck to provide a stable comfort. The microbeads are usually used for travel pillows.

Buckwheat pillows

Buckwheat pillows are made of husks from buckwheat seeds. They are quite hard and provide great support. You cannot expect these pillows to be fluffy, but they are good for providing rigid back support.

Neck pillows

Neck pillows are specially designed to support your spine so that your neck and hear are positioned correctly for a comfortable resting position. Neck pillows can be inflatable or filled with microbeads. They are commonly used by travellers while going on a long seated journey.

Body pillows

The body pillow is the long pillow which can be used to cuddle for a relaxed sleep. People usually keep this pillow to relax while keeping it between their legs for hip and lower back support. They are a great option for lying down and hugging something cold during the night. It helps pregnant women sleep better.

Lumbar Pillows

Lumbar pillows are designed to provide support for patients who have lower back pain. Like the name says, the pillows provide support to the lumbar area, which allows lower back to relax in its natural state.
